英国t5签证邀请函
已经收到外导邀请函，这几天看了很多帖子发现AV和T5签证区别很多，不知道邀请函中这样写的能否申请AV签证？

他们的区别在于：
1、AV签证属于“访问学者”类型签证 (VISA ACADEMIC VISITOR)，T5属于工作签证。AV很容易被拒签，原因主要是VO怀疑你不是进行独立研究，从而建议改签T5。事实上，中国人（包括CSC在内）所理解的“访问学者”和英国人是有偏差的，这种偏差可能是造成AV拒签的最重要原因：我们认为访问学者就是去和世界先进水平交流、学习、合作的，但英国人认为上述情况属于T5中的“政府资助的交流”，而AV本身就应具有较高的专业水准，是去英国从事独立研究的。所以既然我们要签AV，那就要在邀请函、单位的在职和回聘证明中表现的像个AV，一定不要有“Study” “Work” “Supervised”等敏感词，如果还有“Independent Research”就更好了。另外根据官网公布的信息，赴英留学的访问学者应该办理AV签证前提是必须同时满足下列条件：申请人工作单位与英国邀请单位均为教育机构（一般指大学）；申请人须已经取得博士学位，副教授及以上职称。不满足两项条件者也可以办理计点积分制度（PBS）中的进阶5，即T5签证。
2、AV签证没有陪伴签证，所以配偶需申请访问签证，而T5配偶可以申请陪伴签证。
3、签证费不同。因为AV签证是非工作许可的，签证费比较便宜，835。而T5签证属于工作许可的，签证费是AV签证的2倍以上，约2090。
4、来英国以后的待遇不同。如果在英国租房，AV类型的签证是不需要交税的，因为你不在英国工作，不从英国政府拿钱。而T5签证是需要交税的，因为你是工作人员，默认你从英国挣钱了。
