project Hope
In class,our teacher told us something about Project Hope.She said some children in the country couldn t go to school because their parents were too poor to send their children to school.She called on us to help out.
After school I returned home.I was greatly moved by this.What should I do for Project Hope?I was wondering about this when I saw the money collection box on the table.Then I decided to send my pocket money,which I had saved for nearly one year,to the children who wanted to go to school.I wrote a letter to them and hurried to the post office.Together with the letter, I posted the money and sent my best wishes to them.
在课堂上,老师对我们讲了关于希望工程的事情。她说在这个国家一些孩子不能去学校,因为他们的父母太穷送他们的孩子去上学。她呼吁我们帮忙。

The Hope Project is a commonweal undertaking. It aims at helping the children who are out of school in the poor area. What this organization usually do is subsidize the children in the poor place to go to school.
Hope Primary Schools are the result of it. I’m very moved for the act of the Hope Project. With its help more and more people in need can go to school. I hope the helping spirit will last forever as it is the traditional of China.
希望工程是一项公益事业。它旨在帮助那些在贫困地区的失学儿童。这个组织通常做的就是资助贫穷地方的儿童上学。
希望小学就是它的杰作。对于希望工程的行为 我非常的感动。有了它的帮助，越来越多的需要帮助的人可以去学校。我希望这种乐于助人的精神永存，因为它是中国的传统美德。
Hope Project
Education plays a very important role in the modernization of our country. However because of historical factors there are still a lot of people in China who are undereducated. At the same time China is not able to invest too much money in education now. It is in this particular situation that the authorities propose the "Hope Project"-- to donate money to those children who are unable to go to school due to poverty.
This project is necessary to our country. It is an urgent measure that the government has taken. In the first place this project will give the youngsters a chance to go back to school which will contribute to their future success. Secondly when people have acquired knowledge they may use it in the construction of their homeland. Hence this project benefits the modernization of our country a lot. Therefore it may indirectly result in rising the living standards of our people.
In my opinion this project is of great importance to our country at the present time. And it also will have a profound effect on the future achievement of our country. We are sure that more work will be done and every child in the countryside can receive elementary edueation.
教育起着非常重要的作用在我国的现代化进程。然而因为历史的原因仍然有很多人在中国受教育不足。与此同时中国不能投资太多的资金在教育。在这种特殊情况下政府提出了“希望工程”捐款给那些孩子因贫困而不能上学。
这个项目对我们国家是必要的。这是政府采取的紧急措施。首先该项目将给年轻人一个机会回到学校这将有助于他们未来的成功。其次当人们获得知识他们可能使用它的建设他们的家园。因此这个项目我国现代化很多好处。因此它可能间接导致我国人民的生活水平上升。
在我看来这个项目是非常重要的我们国家目前。它也将有一个对我们国家的未来成就产生深远的影响。我们确信会做更多的工作每一个孩子在农村可以得到基本的公务员。

This project is necessary to our country. It is anurgent measure that the government has taken. In the first place this project will provide conditions for the youngsters to go back to school which will contribute to their future success. Thus it will lead to the enhancement of the intelligence level in our country. Secondly education makes it possible for people to acquire knowledge which is useful to their future work. Hence this Project benefits the modernization of our country a lot. Finally it can make more people educated. Therefore it may indirectly result in the increase of the living standards of our people.
这项工程对我国是非常必要的。这是政府采取的紧急措施。首先这项工程会为年轻人提供重返校园的条件，这对他们的未来有很大的帮助。因此这会使得我国国民整体智力水平提升。其次，教育使人们获得知识，这对未来的工作是很有用的。最后，这会使更多人受教育。因此，这项工程会间接使得人们生活水平提高。
In my opinion this project is of great importance to our country at the present time. And it also will have a profound effect on the future achievements of our country. I suggest that more work be done so that every child in the countryside can receive elementary education.

“Hope Project” was started in the October of 1989.It aimed to help children in poor areas to receive proper education.
Almost everyone in citiesfrom government officialsbusinessmen to common peopleis very active in offering their money to the project.From 1989 to 19971.257 million yuan was collected;1.847000 children were helped back to schools;5.256 Hope Primary Schools were set up and hundreds of teachers teaching in those schools were trained.The project will continue to improve school conditions in poor areas and promote the development of education in China.

With the development of our society education is becoming more and more important. Education makes us acquire a lot of knowledge understand the world and improve our quality. The development of our country needs a lot of professionals in a word without education China would not be able to improve the living standard of her people or to achieve her planned economic growth.
However in our country especially in some rural areas some children cannot afford the cost of education. Even when they reach the school age they have to stay at home and help their parents. To help these poor children our country has started the Project Hope which calls on all the people to donate money to these poor children or do whet they can to help the children. This project is a necessary measure the government has taken to help the poor children return to school and fulfill their dream of going to school.In my opinion the opportunity to receive education should be given equally to everyone. The better educated our people are the more powerful our country will become. So this project is of great importance and will have a profound effect on our country"s future.

Hope Project is a Chinese public service project organized by official organization. It aims to help children go back to school build Hope Primary School and improve rural conditions in poor regions.
In many poor areas in China there are many school age children can’t go to school because their families do not have enough money. As a result they have to stay at home and help their families do the farm work. We often say that knowledge changes fate. Therefore only study can help them go to the outside world and change their lives even change the poor condition of their hometown. Through the Hope Project much money and books and other materials can be collected to improve the poor conditions.
That makes children can share more resources to get knowledge. Besides many people in city have a chance and channel to show their kindness. The most important and meaningful is that they can help those children who are desperate in need.
希望工程是由官方组织举办的中国公益项目。该项目旨在帮助孩子们重返校园，建立希望小学以及改善贫困乡村地区的条件。
在中国，很多贫困地区的适龄儿童由于家里没有足够的钱不能去上学。因此，他们不得不待在家帮助家人做农活。我们常常说知识改变命运。因此，只有学习能够帮助他们走出外面的世界，改变他们的生活，甚至是改变他们家乡贫困的现状。通过希望工程，我们可以收集到资金、书籍以及其他材料以改善贫困的现状。
这样一来，孩子们就可以分享更多的资源，学到更多知识。除此之外，城市里的很多人就有机会和渠道显示他们的善良。最重要且有意义的是他们可以帮助那些极需帮助的孩子们。
Hope Project
Education plays an important part in the modernization of our country. Without improving education China will not be able to develop fast or can not catch up with the developed countries technologically and economically.
However in the west mountainous part of China there are still many school aged children who can not go to school or study in poor conditions. They need badly help from all over China. I think money seems to be the biggest problem. As there are thousands of things to be done in the construction of our country the government could hardly have enough money to help all those poor children in time. So a nation-wide drive called Project Hope has been launched to help those children.
Project Hope helps the government a lot financially. It also brings hope to the children who can not go to school only by depending on their parents. Therefore I hope that more and more people should join in Project Hope to help the poor children.
教育在我国的现代化进程中扮演一个重要组成部分。没有改善教育中国将无法快速发展或不能赶上发达国家技术和经济。
然而在中国的西部山区仍有许多学龄儿童不能上学或在恶劣的环境里学习。他们需要帮助来自中国各地。我认为钱似乎是最大的问题。有成千上万的事情要做在我们国家的建设政府几乎不可能有足够的钱来帮助那些贫穷的孩子。所以一个全国性的驱动器叫希望工程来帮助那些孩子。
希望工程帮助政府大量资金。它还带来了希望的孩子不能去上学只有依靠他们的父母。因此我希望越来越多的人应该加入希望工程帮助贫困儿童。
